Through out the year there are many fund raising events. Organised by the Fund Raising Committee, these are manned by club members. Events can be one-offs or regular tried and tested events. Easter sees the Easter Egg raffle when up to 15 eggs are raffled in pubs and shops around the district. This will be our second year having Car Boot sales In June we have our annual Summer Fete which is always very well supported by the local business community. Details are here. The first Sunday in November brings the Annual Charity 10k Road Race, which attracts over 300 runners. This event has been taking place over 10 years. At the turning on of Ilminster Christmas lights, in November Lions mulled wine is always well received. The Christmas Annual Bazaar is held in South Petherton in early December with a Teddy Bear Lucky dip, held just before Christmas in Ilminster.
